Reopening the west end of Osage Beach Parkway to create an outer road to connect to Y Road could become a reality. The U.S. Senate late last year passed and the President signed into law a long-term transportation bill that could provide funds for such projects as extending the Parkway from Lazy Days Road to Y Road.
